Architecture as Worship
Architecture can shape the experience of faith, community and belonging.
At Iris Architects, we approach sacred architecture as an opportunity to create spaces of reverence, reflection, community and spiritual experience.
We explore the relationship between light, material, proportion, movement, symbolism and landscape to create environments that support worship while responding to their cultural and community context.
Our work includes:
- Churches
- Chapels
- Religious campuses
- Fellowship and community spaces
- Sacred interiors
- Master planning of religious institutions
“Through architecture, we seek not only to build structures, but to shape experiences of faith, light and belonging.”
